Our name means Blue Waters. It is what we believe great textiles should be — honest about how they are made, and proud of the hands that made them. We named our brand after the ancient practice that gives each piece its soul: the hand-carved teak block, the resist dye, the patient repetition that no machine can replicate.
Neelo Paani
Our Origin
"Before London stirs, a craftsman in Jaipur has already spent two hours at his block. His tools are teak. His dye is indigo. His pattern is four hundred years old."
Neelo Paani was founded on a single conviction: that the most extraordinary things in the world are made slowly, by hand, by people who have devoted a lifetime to learning how. We are a London-rooted brand built on the living block-print traditions of Rajasthan, India — and we exist to bring that tradition to the world at the level it has always deserved.
Rooted in India.
Worn by the world.
India gave the world mathematics, astronomy, philosophy — and some of the finest textiles ever woven. Block-printing from Rajasthan was traded from Jaipur to Istanbul to London long before globalisation had a name. We are not introducing something new. We are returning something that was always yours.
Neelo Paani is for those who believe the things they own should mean something. That beauty is worth patience. That the hands behind an object matter as much as the object itself.
At the heart of every product lies a unique story, driven by our passion for quality and innovation. Each item enhances your everyday life and sparks joy.
